Pure Research number eighteen was led by Maiko Bae Yamamoto and James Long at the Woodward Centre of Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, on June 13th, 14th,
and 15th, 2011.

Topic of research and goals: Explore the role of choreographic and physical life in our work.

General inquiry: How do we use choreography/physicality in our work, especially working with found material and verbatim texts or existing scripts?
